Safety Release Winter Workshop

Join us for the Safety Release Winter Workshop from December 12-14, 2025. Led by founder B.J. Sullivan and SR Master Teachers Billy James Hawkains III, Caitlyn Schrader, kt williams, and Marissa Finkelstein, this 3-day workshop is designed for college-level (18+) and professional dancers, along with K-12 and university dance educators. Over the span of three days, participants will dive into SR foundational principles, engage in personal somatic investigations, and share in rich dialogue about SR technique and pedagogy. Each day will cover 2 hours of physical SR practice and 2 hours of specialized pedagogical discussion sessions, rounding out a full, 12-hour winter workshop exploring the vast and inspiring world of Safety Release.
